Akshat Divitia excels in providing diligent advocacy and simplified immigration help to budding entrepreneurs, established companies, and growing families.
Akshat represents clients in a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including visas for trainees, interns, investors, specialty occupation temporary workers, intracompany transferees, athletes and entertainment groups, and religious workers, as well as immigrant petitions for companies and self-petitioners. He also helps permanent residents preserve their status and become naturalized citizens. An equally satisfying aspect of Akshat’s practice is reuniting families by obtaining visas for spouses, parents, fiancés, and visitors.
Akshat emigrated from India and is a naturalized United States citizen. He has lived on four continents and speaks five languages: English, Gujarati, Hindi, Spanish, and Catalan. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Bellevue, a former board member of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, and a pro bono attorney for the Eastside Legal Assistance Program.
In the spare time he finds from raising his two boys with his wife, Akshat is an ardent follower of the tactics, culture, and business of soccer/fútbol.
